Florida International University Accelerated Dental Program

The program will offer the students the required theoretical, ethical and clinical skills through the different courses in the curriculum in order to apply the appropriate techniques determined by the Dental Hygiene National Board necessary to improve the dental health of the community. University of Florida has a great accelerated dental program. Many of my friends have gone thru it and are doing quite well at UF Dental. I'm a highschool senior looking to apply to 7 year dental programs (the ones where you apply to an undergrad school + its affiliated dental school and get a combined admission to both, straight from high. Florida International University. And it’s why FIU Nursing created the Accelerated Option. Students are admitted into the AO BSN program once a year. Accelerated Juris Doctor (JD) Programs. FIU's College of Law (COL) will consider applications from qualified FIU undergraduate students who meet certain COL admissions criteria in what is coined the '3+3' program.

Hi, I was wondering if I'd have a chance at getting into a good accelerated dental program with my current stats. Dentistry has been my passion since I was a toddler and I am applying for programs this year since I am now a senior. Any additional advice would be gladly appreciated! BTW, I am an African American female.

I think you definitely have a fair amount of chance to the colleges you want to apply to. In my opinion, UPeen is the hardest school to get into out of the colleges you listed and I’m assuming that that you are worried about SAT sub scores but UPenn doesn’t require SAT sub scores so you have an option to not send them. Especially when your GPA is very high, I don’t see why you would need to send SAT sub scores. Other than that, I think the colleges you listed are either target or safety for you. Hope I was helpful and good luck!

Thank you! The only one I have to send them for is BU. I am debating sending the biology to the others as well, but if it would hurt my application, I will leave it off.
